About the role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and administration of a varied and diverse portfolio of IT and Technology-centric projects that underpin the Universities student and staff experience. With demonstrated skills in resource management, scheduling, and prioritisation, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of the project portfolio. Working with IT Project Managers in building robust project schedules that can be used to effectively manage resources and forecast costs, you will support the delivery of the IT Portfolio to ensure high quality outcomes for UNDA students and staff, whilst assisting in developing and maturing the project management and delivery practices and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maturing demand and delivery practices and processes, including workflows, JIRA service management, and prioritisation.
- Supporting Project Managers through the whole project lifecycle, particularly providing project templates, checklists, best practices, use of service management tooling and lessons learnt documentation to ensure all projects are managed consistently and PMs are enabled to manage documentation effectively.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between cross functional teams.
- Monitoring and reporting on portfolio progress, escalating early identification and correction of portfolio-level issues that may impact performance.
- Develop, review, and oversee the processes associated with progress reporting, proposals, and presentations across the portfolio in addition to suggesting and implementing improvements.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields, or an extensive combination of relevant experience and or/ education/ training.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise-level technology projects and programs.
- Expertise in risk management, issue resolution, resource management and activity prioritisation
